Director of Production and Quality

Oversee the production and quality division of a Land Rover Defender automotive building and upgrade shop at the Land Rover Master Technician level. Prepare technical documentation for building the vehicles. Monitor ongoing changes to existing documentation for building the vehicles. Develop and test upgrades for the base model vehicles. Develop and test new engine options for the new vehicles. Develop and test new suspension and braking components for the vehicles. Assess the skill level of and provide necessary training of team members who will assemble the vehicles on a daily basis. Build the new prototype vehicles as the business expands its range of vehicles offered. Implement a quality checks process at every stage of the build. Execute quality checks during the build process at key milestones. Perform the final test drive and gives sign-off approval on each and every vehicle.

Requires two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience as a Land Rover Master Technician; preparing technical documentation for building Land Rover Defender vehicles; developing and testing upgrades for Land Rover Defender vehicles; developing and testing new engine options for Land Rover Defender vehicles; developing and testing new suspension and braking components for Land Rover Defender vehicles; executing quality checks at each stage of the build of Land Rover Defender vehicles
